World Health Summit 2022

The World Health Summit (https://www.worldhealthsummit.org/)  is one of the world’s leading strategic forums for global health.  It is held every October, and it brings together international experts from academia, politics, the private sector, and civil society to Berlin. During the three-day summit, stakeholders and decision-makers from 100 countries and every field in healthcare work together to find solutions to global health challenges and set the agenda for a healthier future.
This year, Prof. Achim Hörauf, Director IMMIP and Speaker DNTDs  and Dr. Carsten Köhler,University Hospital Tuebingen,  cochaired the session  WS 10 - Neglected Tropical Diseases in the Context of the WHO-NTD-Roadmap 2030;  Moving to Action through the Kigali Declaration, World Helath Summit 2022

The Kigali Declaration - published 27.01.2022 - is a declaration of intent by partners from industry, donor countries, NTD-endemic countries, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), philanthropists and research institutions. The Kigali Declaration builds on the London Declaration on Neglected Tropical Diseases of 2012 and aims to support the World Health Organization's Roadmap for NTD Control.
