Research Interests and Projects

Our current research focuses on the interplay between helminth infections, immune modulation, and metabolic diseases such as obesity and type 2 diabetes. We explore eosinophil and macrophage immunometabolism in the context of infection, aging, and metabolic health. The aim is to bridge basic immunology, metabolic disease research, and translational applications in human health.
Currently we are involved in interdisciplinary projects investigating helminth-mediated immune modulation, metabolic inflammation, and infectious diseases. Our work connects basic science and clinical research, advancing understanding of immune-metabolic interactions and their implications for global health.
