The Institute of Medical Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology is located at the University Hospital Bonn’s Venusberg Campus (UKB map). It belongs to the Center for Infectiology and Infection Prevention of the Medical Faculty of the University of Bonn, and conducts research and teaching in medical microbiology whilst also providing diagnostic services. The institute is the coordination site for the German Center for Infection Research (DZIF) Bonn-Cologne and member of the Excellence Cluster ImmunoSensation².
