A joint publication by University of Bonn scientists and partners from the MiniMox consortium (https://www.minimox.eu/; funded by EDCTP) offers an overview of drugs for Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) in the development pipeline; focusing on those drugs nearing the process of regulatory registration. In addition to information on the drugs, this paper also provides information on regulatory registration and WHO guidelines. The supplemental information is a great resource for current approved and accepted alternate strategies. The review highlights the need for more drug development, as the number of drugs in the pipeline does not reflect the number of people affected by NTDs.
